I think Google Docs is a very useful tool. Even though the spreadsheet, document, and presentation are much more basic than what we have available on Word, they are very easy to share. I think the spreadsheet could be used as a shared library schedule or calendar. The document could be shared with teachers and used to plan lessons collaboratively or to reiterate what was decided upon in a planning meeting. I agree that the beauty of Google docs is in the sharing capability.
