Thing 4

I really like the custom Google search engine. This is a great way to control where students are looking for information. They are restricted to sites that have been preselected by the teacher or librarian. Of course they would only look at these sites after they have used the Gale Databases. Since we have just returned from the Trinity River Audubon Center field trip, I thought I would create a search engine for the blackland prairie. The city of Grand Prairie is located on what was once a very large blackland prairie. Students would be able to use these sites to learn more about what a blackland prairie is.
